A star party will be held at Lakeside downtown on March 21st beginning at 4:00pm. This event will be hosted by my astronomy club, Central Florida Astronomical Society (CFAS pronounced see-fuss). Myself and other members will have our telescopes available for public viewing and short films will be shown in the Jones Room . In the event of bad weather, the event will still take place and everything will be moved to the Jones Room. There will be discussions and presentations on what to look for when purchasing a telescope and we will answer to the best of our ability, any questions you may have.
