Want to help the troops? This is your chance! This year Celebration adopted Headquarters Company of the 2nd Battalion, 124th Infantry during a July 4 Community Covenant signing. These troops will be deploying to the war zone in January. This holiday season residents have the opportunity to do something for these soldiers and their families. On December 5 a holiday meal will be served to members of the unit and their families at the Community Center. Volunteers are needed to help at the beverage and food tables, children’s craft area, and other duties.

Volunteers are also need to bake cookies for the families. These volunteers would bake one or two dozen cookies to give to a family at the end of the meal.
