As you may know, we have 70-100 students who are dealing with various forms of homelessness who are being rezoned from Kissimmee and entering Celebration K-8 School in August. Many will be kindergarten age and younger children. Because of many people's generosity, including the Lollipop Cottage, we have been able to provide these students with several of the required collared shirts to wear to school. Now our efforts are now being focused on helping them with the other essentials - socks, underwear, belts, shorts, skirts and pants. This summer, as you are cleaning out your children's closets, if you find any of these or other uniform items in "gently used" condition, please consider donating them. New items are certainly appreciated as well.

Items may be dropped off at the Celebration Foundation, Celebration Town Hall, or at the school's front desk. The school's summer hours are Monday through Thursday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. The Celebration Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, also has a fund set up to receive tax-deductible donations for the uniform project, if you would prefer to help that way. Any donation of any size is welcome - together we can make a difference!
